Anya Erokhina
Maid of Honor
We'd like to introduce you to some of our closest friends. We love you all dearly and are so excited you decided to join the wedding party. We appreciate all of the time, help, and dedication to make this the best day of our lives.
Bridesmaids: As you can see, I've surrounded myself with greatness. I have so much respect for these amazing and powerful ladies. (We totally run the world!)
Groomsman: Evan is hosting the Groomsman Olympics to fill the remaining slots!
Let's see...I met Anya at Arabic Boot Camp (Middlebury SILP) in 2009. We were both Kathryn Davis scholars headed to Monterey for Nonproliferation and Terrorism Studies. I can't believe it's been 5 years already! Anya is hard to describe - she is everything you could want in a best friend and more plus the best kind of crazy. I have so much fun with her and appreciate her support and friendship through the tough and wild times I've faced in the past few years. She's pretty much just awesome, and I love all of the wild adventures we have together.
It's a good thing Kristyn came along, because I almost had a common-law marriage with this gentleman: Christopher P. Healey, Esq. Chris has been one of my best friends for over a decade. We met at Tufts, played on the ultimate team together, and lived with each other for almost five years. He's followed me down the East Coast (from Boston, to NYC, to DC), and even visited me when I lived in Egypt. I'm proud to call him my "best man," and honored that he will be standing next to me at the altar as I start this new chapter in my life.
Between our shared love of video games, board games, and ultimate frisbee, Mike single-handedly lowered my GPA in college. While better grades would have been nice, lasting friendships are sometimes worth more. Mike has remained my friend despite 10+ years of targeted assassination attempts (in video and board games, of course), and he has promised to make the trip from Australia to Virginia to be with us on our big day (talk about commitment!).
I also met Victoria through Monterey's Nonproliferation and Terrorism Studies program. This girl is SMART! And STRONG! And she's a Dallas girl (which I don't think she likes to admit sometimes) which makes her even cooler. She's the friend who is always there for you no matter what.

Diana Croll
Bridesmaid
Diana is one of my best friends from high school, so we go waaay back. I'm pretty sure we did almost everything together. She was friends with me even when I had no idea who I was (took me awhile to figure that one out). She's smart, kind, and full of life. We have so much fun together, and I love that whenever we see each other we just pick right back up. Even though we don't see each other as much since we live so far away, she will always be my best friend.
Oh Captain, my Captain--what do I say about Rob Spies? Bob is another Tufts Ultimate alum, another former roommate, and one of the most loyal, steadfast friends a guy could ask for. While I don't get to see Rob as often as I would since he lives in Boston, he is always there when I need him (which varies from deep conversations to humoring my crass text messages).

Andrew Chira
Groomsman
I met Emily through Anya and Victoria, and I have to admit, I was a little jealous of this new tall, blonde, young model-looking lady. I've really enjoyed getting to know her over the past year and a half, and I'm really happy to call her one of my closest friends. Also smart, ambitious, and overall kick-ass (seeing a trend amongst my friends), she's also very supportive and there when I need a friend.

Kathrina Czarny
Bridesmaid
I also met Jessi through Anya and Victoria. She is a ball of energy! She has a big heart and is always helping others. Even though her wedding is rapidly approaching, she's always doing everything she can to help me plan mine. I'm impressed by how she's able to balance a million different things at once and never sweat the small stuff. She's ambitious and one of the strongest and most determined women I know. I'm grateful to have her by my side and appreciate her constant encouragement.
Kathy is my best friend from high school. We ran track, pole-vaulted, and did pretty much everything together. Kathy is amazing and has it all - beauty, brains, and a fun personality. Now if I could just get her to move to the East Coast from the West Coast...I'm really lucky to have her as a friend.

Chris Healey
Best Man

Michael Chirlin
Groomsman
Andrew is one of the first friends I made at Tufts. Another Ultimate frisbee guy and housemate (are you noticing a trend), Chira is my preferred source for informed East Asian political analysis, obscure but emerging musicians, and all-you-can-eat buffets on the Eastern seaboard. As a fellow federal bureaucrat, he's been my sounding board for several major career moves, and he's never steared me astray.
*His uncle also made Kristyn's engagement ring. Check it out--it's gorgeous!
